In this setting singers are featured with a 19-piece orchestra witch is creating a very flexible sound from symphonic to bigband, classical to even acoustic jungle. The idea is to condence the sound of great bands like the orchestra of Nelson Riddle (the backing of Frank Sinatra in the '50th) or the Metropole Orchestra into an economic size. In february 2001 I worked with this kind of orchestra to feature Ronald Douglas.
